Review:
Insook Hwang
The major formal elements of Insook Hwang's work are abstracted cartoon marks and symbols. She has been greatly influenced by ancient Korean symbolic landscape paintings and calligraphic works both in line oriented symbolic form and spirituality. 43 slides and the invitation cards of the exhibitions in which the artist's works are included are available in the AAAC Archives.
